Pictured is the John Nance Garner Museum in Uvalde, Texas. It was the house of Democratic politician and lawyer from Texas, John Nance Garner. The house was built in 1920 and gifted to the City of Uvalde in 1952 by Garner and his son Tulley. John Nance Garner was the 32nd Vice President of the United States under President Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933 to 1941. He died of a heart attack on November 7th, 1967, 15 days before his 99th birthday. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
