Description
Going back to 1891, cargo of all kinds were moved along the Embarcadero by the Belt Line Train. During World War Two it also carried troops into the Presidio and Fort Mason. With the replacement of maritime activity for tourism, there was a drop need for such trains, and operations stopped completely in 1991. The building is now commercial offices. As seen 24 April 2024.
