Albee, one of America's foremost playwrights, died at this home in Montauk, New York on September 16, 2016 at age 88. Albee won a Pulitzer Prize and three Tony Awards and is well known for his plays: Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? The Zoo Story, Tiny Alice, A Delicate Balance, Three Tall Women, and The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?
