Pictured is a fresco showing Saint Paul the Apostle in the ancient cave church, La Chiesa di San Lorenzo, in the Parco Rupestre Lama D`Antico. The rupestrian settlement of Lama d’Antico is regarded as one of the oldest of the Puglia Region. It was already inhabited in the 10th century AD. Saint Paul was born in 5 AD and thought to have been martyred in 67 AD in Rome. He as also known as Saul of Tarsus, and the Apostle of the Gentiles. Of 27 books in the New Testament, 14 are attributed to Saint Paul
