Pictured is a Plaque honoring the memory of Will Rogers presented by the Cherokee Nation in 1946. The memorial is located in the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore, Oklahoma. Will Rogers was a stage and motion picture actor, vaudeville performer, American cowboy, humorist, newspaper columnist, and social commentator from Oklahoma. Of mixed race, he identified as Cherokee, as his parents did. He was known as `Oklahoma`s Favorite Son`.
