Music giant, American violinist Isaac Stern and Spanish-born American scientist Pedro Cuatrecasas are among the 12 recipients of the Wolf Prize. Two were for contributions in the field of music and 10 were for scientific achievements. Of the Distinguished dozen, 7 were Americans.
