Description
Paleisbrug revisited. The Paleisbrug is a hiking bridge with a citypark in `s-Hertogenbosch. It connects the neighbourhood Paleiskwartier with Het Zand and the inner city. The bridge is besides the High Line in Manhattan, New York, the second parkbridge in the world.On the bridge there are ornaments in Corten Steel and little gardens, front right. In the back a new modern flat has been built, just beside the bridge. The bridge is designed by Benthem Crouwel Architekts. The gardens and trees are made by a design of Piet Oudolf, also involved with the design of the High Line.
